It’s been a few weeks since I had my baby shower. However I wanted to give a shout out to The Denver Tea Room for hosting my special occasion. They really went out of their way to accommodate all of us.
I have always wanted to have a fancy tea party so I thought a baby shower would be the perfect opportunity to have one. There was only one problem which was finding a place that offers a traditional tea party and that everyone in the family could eat at. There are a ton of allergies, diet restrictions, and preferences in my family. Finding a location that offers vegan high tea options along with gluten-free, nut-free, and soy-free options was a challenge. I must have researched a dozen tea parlors before finding The Denver Tea Room. I was prepared to travel to Boulder if we had to. Fortunately that wasn’t necessary. They are currently in the process of finding a larger location to sprout their business but they will still stay in the Denver area.
Of course there is an extra charge for these accommodations. It isn’t much considering what we got for it. The spread was impressive and delicious. Not to mention their tea selection is excellent. We got to choose two teas for our gathering. A decaffeinated Marzipan Rooibos for me and a variety of Chai for anyone who wanted caffeine. It was a hard decision to make though since they have 60 or more teas to choose from.
The Denver Tea Room hosts all sorts of parties. I highly recommend you check them out for your next special occasion. They’re great for children’s tea parties too. They even have an actress that will dress up as a princess or an American Girl doll or what have you. They have etiquette tea parties which would be fun. They also have a book club and themed parties like Downton Abbey. Click here to go to their website.
